The Pop Machine is one of last Great Sonic temples in the U.S.
Since 2000, The Pop Machine in Indianapolis has hosted landmark recording sessions for platinum-selling music legends and emerging artists, in addition to historic broadcasts for Sirius XM and iHeart Radio.
The Pop Machine is a boutique recording studio par excellence that features the same arsenal of ultra high-end modern digital and vintage analog recording equipment found in legendary hit-making studios from London to Los Angeles. The studio is the artistic home to GRAMMY-nominated producer/engineer/songwriters Eric Klee Johnson and Marc Johnson.
Create in inspiring acoustic spaces and mix in our super accurate control room designed by co-founder and partner Terry L. Monday and his Monday Designworks firm.
The centerpiece of the studio is a Solid State Logic AWS 924 Delta SuperAnalogue console augmented with a gear spec that includes classic outboard rack equipment, analog tape machines, vintage instruments, and microphones with a tech stack of the latest digital audio workstations and software -- all designed to help you move audiences.
