One of the last great sonic Temples in the U.s.
Since 2000, The Pop Machine has hosted recording sessions for platinum-selling music legends and emerging artists in addition to landmark broadcasts for Sirius XM and iHeart Radio.
The Pop Machine is a boutique recording studio, par excellence, that features the same ultra high-end modern digital and vintage analog gear found in hit-making studios from London to LA. The studio is the artistic home to GRAMMY-nominated producers/engineers/songwriters Eric Klee Johnson and Marc Johnson.
Create in inspiring spaces and mix in the super accurate control room designed by co-founder and partner Terry L. Monday and his Monday Designworks firm.
The studio's centerpiece is a Solid State Logic AWS 924 Delta SuperAnalogue console augmented by well-appointed racks of classic analog outboard gear, effects processors, microphones, and analog tape machines with access to the owners' private instrument collection. The tech stack includes Apple MacPro computers, Avid Pro Tools Ultimate and Logic Pro X digital audio workstations, and the latest software - all designed to help artists move audiences.
